PRE-SCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN
The adventure begins ... with a creative learning environment tailored to meet the individual developmental needs of each child in Pre-school and Kindergarten. Through sharing, play and learning, students move to new levels of awareness with the teacher as their guide.
In a caring and positive environment, we create a warm and happy place for toddlers, pre-schoolers and kindergarteners to learn. We try to guide children to build and maintain a positive self-image while developing intellectual and social skills in a school setting.
Based on the theory that children learn by doing, classroom practices encourage active involvement and meaningful experimentation by conducting in-depth studies about real world topics. Youngsters learn through investigation, observation and discussion. They are encouraged to represent their ideas in different ways using diverse media.
Pre-school is the first important step in the child’s learning process. Here the child will make his or her first contact with the outside world. Sharing, socializing and establishing limits and rules are part of this process. The psychomotor process, including coarse and fine motor coordination, is another important phase of the child’s development.
Year after year, the child’s comprehension and use of vocabulary, as well as a phonetic awareness of both the English and Spanish alphabets increases. In Kindergarten, students are introduced to reading and writing in both Spanish and English, thus allowing them to become part of the bilingual and bicultural education offered in the elementary grades.
It is our aim to provide an optimal educational program within a safe and nurturing environment for your child. Our goal is to instill a love for learning in all of our students. We know how important your children are, and we strive to make their first learning experiences at school meaningful and memorable.
In Mexico, children 3 years old and older must attend school.
