Psychological Services

At Colegio Americano, we know that navigating the exhilarating, and sometimes turbulent waters of adolescence can be challenging for a young person. Students who are facing personal challenges can always find help in Psychological Services. Colegio Americano’s experienced psychologist is on staff to help students with both social and academic challenges. The psychologist is an integral element of our educational team who listens and provides advice or referrals. The psychologist also acts as a liaison with teaching staff and external agencies, where appropriate.

Tutoring Program

Teachers assess students’ needs, and if required, refer students for tutoring. This program is free of charge to eligible students and takes place after regular school hours.

The Tutoring Program provides your child with a patient, knowledgeable and caring tutor who understands your child's needs. Our tutors will not only help your child academically but will boost your child's confidence and self–esteem. Our tutors create confident students by discovering and targeting the causes of their academic frustrations.
